Slow Print Letterpress Liquidation Sale

Notice and Terms of Sale

Slow Print Letterpress Physical Facilities

Please see many photos here: https://goo.gl/photos/x7nTq5tNmiNmMFG99

This is a 'blind bid', best offer hybrid auction.

You can send me your best offer by email, pony express or any other method of your choosing between now and then. No bids will be public, but I will know what they are.

I may accept an offer at any time, and remove the lot from the sale.

If your offer is not matched before 2pmCT 15 October and there is a second credible offer for the lot within a reasonable amount of the high bid (in my sole judgement), I will inform both parties of the current high bid, and both will have one chance to increase their offer. The lot will go to the highest bidder at that time. A credible offer will include a 10% deposit, refundable if the bid is not accepted. I will take deposits by credit card through Paypal, cash.me, or square,

It’s a bit like the 5 minute no-sniping rule on online auctions, where last minute bids add 5 minutes to the auction, but in this case, just for the top two offers, and only one shot. Payment must be immediately tendered by cash, cashier's check or credit card, within one hour or the lot will be offered to the competing bidder.

Pick-up only; We will facilitate getting the equipment on a palette and over to the dock, but will charge time and materials. Or else, the buyer can arrange for FedEx Freight or similar logistics company who will do this.

As Is. No warranty, no refunds, no returns.

Come see it after October 3rd. I can be in Dubuque in 20 minutes. Let me know when you're coming.

I have tried everything in my power to keep this facility together and have had the rug pulled out too many times by circumstances beyond my control, I guess this is the end of the road.

I now have to try to keep my home.

Thanks for your attention.

PS, oh, if you were still expecting us to be moving to Hamilton, that's one of the rugs that got yanked. After six months of discussion with the Museum, and literally days before the deal was to be finalized, the Board of the Two Rivers Historical Society told the Museum Director to refuse our donation. Apparently we accidentally applied for a grant (to pay for the move) with a 'proprietary' funding source.

Maybe somebody with a press can print one of those for us. :-)

Thanks
